I have been looking for a new car seat for my 2 year old, but I want something that doesn’t expire in 5 years. She is quite small (28lbs), so I know it is something we will have for a while.
I love that the Graco Nautilus 65 lx is good for 10 years! That means she will be able to use it as a booster (when the time comes) without it having expired. And, it looks like the straps don’t need to be rethreaded each time a height adjustment is made. Another bonus!

My daughter and son-in-law have a fairly big 2 year old boy and they need a new car seat. I have told her that I will buy it for her. This model looks great, especially from a safety and years of use perspective.

Your review is so helpful! Now that kids have to be in a seat longer, it is hard to find one that grows with them. I love the harness feature. Needing a smaller car seat when their real little is not that big of a deal since most people take them out and put them in a grocery cart anyway. Great review!
