I have been reviewing strollers for a while now and have come across some really amazing stroller designs.
I am a fan of jogging strollers; I like how you can stay in shape while using a strollers, without having to go to the gym.
Plus it is great how you can safely share your exercise with your little one. You no longer need to find someone to watch the baby while you exercise.
Today I will review a few jogging strollers I consider best for runners. These strollers include the Thule urban glide and its sibling the Thule glide jogging stroller.
You can’t talk jogging strollers without mentioning the Bob family. In this group, I will write about the Bob Ironman jogging stroller, Bob sport utility stroller and the Bob revolution flex jogging stroller.
Going even farther into this review, I will talk about Bumbleride speed, mountain buggy terrain and Joovy zoom 360 ultra light jogging stroller.
Without further ado, lets begin
Thule urban glide
The Thule urban glide jogging stroller is by far my favorite. It is a lean and sleek running machine which is relatively lightweight and very easy to maneuver. This is every runners’ dream.
It is designed to roll like a dream, turn on a dime and suspend like a cloud. It has a swiveling front wheel for great maneuverability around corners. This front wheel locks firm to give this stroller excellent stability when running.
There is absolutely no play in the front wheel when it is locked; this is what makes this stroller so great. You can use it both for running and strolls.
Because of its slim design (door pass through of 25.5 in), this stroller will fit great in doors so it could be your one an only stroller especially if you are on a budget.
The front wheel measures 12″ while the back wheels are 16″. These big wheels in combination to the rear suspension, makes the ride smooth for your little one and you too.
To give your child additional comfort, the seat has been designed to recline to a near flat position for outdoor naps and on the go diaper changes.
For safety, your child is provided with a five point safety harness that secures them comfortably to their seat. This harness adjust for height to provide a perfect fit for your child.
Other important features include a big adjustable canopy with a peek a boo window, a height adjustable handlebar, a padded seat with vented top, a large zippered storage compartment and one hand easy and compact fold.
Before I move to the next stroller, I will like to say that some parents have found this stroller too tight for their little one, especially those older than two.

Thule Glide jogging stroller
The main difference between the Thule urban glide and the Thule glide stroller is the wheels and storage. Thule glide has a fixed front wheel which means this stroller is purposefully designed for runners.
The fixed wheel design is very stable and provided the runner with an excellent straight line run thus limiting sharp turns that could be catastrophic when on high speed.
With a fixed front whee, making corners can be a little hard but many parents say leaning ever so slightly on the handlebar when turning can make a big difference.
The other difference is in the storage, Thule glide does not have a covered storage like the urban glide does. This is however not a big deal as the storage basket is deep enough to keep stuff in even when you run.

Bob Ironman jogging stroller
Bob Ironman stroller like the Thule glide stroller has a fixed front wheel that measures 12”. The two back wheels measure 16”. These wheels roll with ease and the front wheel has a tracking adjustment knob to keep it rolling straight.
Bob Ironman has a capacity of 70 lbs and a maximum height capacity of 44”. It comes with a state of the art suspension system that will make riding on any rough terrain smooth for your little one. This suspension can be fine-tuned for the specific weighed of your child plus cargo.
The seat will recline to a near flat position and back up to an almost upright position. It comes with an adjustable five point harness which is super easy to use. The seat is padded to provide additional cushioning for your little one.
Seeing how this stroller is designed for outdoor exploration, it is not surprising that the canopy is UV 50+ to provide plenty of protection from harmful UV radiations. The canopy toggles to 5 positions with a 125 degree range; so you can follow the sun and give your child the much needed shade.
The canopy also has a viewing window for you to keep an eye on him/her as you run. Additional convenience features include a padded handlebar with a hand brake for more control when jogging downhill.

Bob ironman can convert to a travel system with the use of a compatible infant car seat and adapter.
Bob sport utility stroller
Just like the ironman stroller, Bob sport utility has a fixed front wheel. Back wheels measure 16” and front wheel measures 12”. It also has a great suspension system that is adjustable to suit the weight needs for the stroller at any time. This suspension system offers 3” of wheel travel (that is pretty deep).
Unlike the ironman stroller, the sport utility stroller has a 9 position adjustable handlebar. This means almost everyone in the family can adjust it to fit their height needs. It has a hand activated parking brake that is very great for jogging downhill.
The sport utility stroller has knobby pneumatic wheels that have great traction and thus makes an excellent type for a jogging stroller. The wheels can easily pop off and in to allow for easy fold and use as is needed.

Bob revolution flex stroller
Bob revolution flex is Bob’s flagship stroller. Unlike the previous two I just wrote about, this stroller has a swiveling front wheel that can be locked. When it swivels, it roll almost on its own and will turn on a dime.
If you feel like running or jogging, just lock the front wheel to give your stroller additional stability. This flexibility makes this a great all around stroller.
Like both Bob strollers previously reviewed, it has a state of the art suspension system that adjust to two height levels to provide customized suspension for each child plus cargo. The canopy is UV 50+ and adjust to multiple positions.
It has a big storage capacity and the storage basket and pouches are easy to access. It has a padded adjustable handlebar but unlike the other two, it has no hand brake. It however has a foot activated parking brake that is very easy to use.

Bumbleride speed jogging stroller
As you can guess from the name, Bumbleride speed is design to run fast. It comes with all wheel suspension to provide your child the smoothest ride ever. The front wheel can lock forward for running, 30 degrees for jogging and swivel 360 degrees for great maneuverability around corners.
The front wheel measures 12” and rear wheels 16” and all three wheels are pneumatic. It has a 26 lbs. welded aluminum frame that is very durable. It comes with a three year warranty if you register your stroller with bumbleride after purchase.
The stroller seat reclines to multiple positions using a single lever recline. The handlebar is height adjustable to allow for a comfortable use for people of a wide range of heights. The canopy is adjustable and UV 45+ with a magnetic viewing window and pop out sun visor.
It features an easy one step self-standing, auto –locking compact fold. All this makes the stroller easy to transport and store. Bumbleride speed has plenty of storage spaces which are all easy to reach.
This stroller is made with recycled materials that are safe and environmentally friendly. It is designed for superior safety with a five point break away harness and a foot activated parking break.

Mountain Buggy Terrain
The mountain buggy terrain is an elegant jogging stroller designed for the avid runner. It comes with 16″ all terrain wheels that roll with ease and have great traction.
The front wheel can be set to swivel or locked in two positions. In the swivel mode, the stroller has a complete 360 degree wheel rotation that allows for excellent maneuverability, which is especially useful when navigating around corners.
The front wheel can lock both forward and backward to give the stroller additional stability when running and also give you more options. There is a tracking system to help keep the front wheel rolling straight.
With a hand controlled braking system, you can control the speed of your stroller; adjusting it to slow or completely stop. This stroller has a slime 25″ frame that is great for both outdoor and indoor use.
The buggy terrain is equipped with a suspension system that in addition to the big wheels make rides extra smooth for your little one. The stroller seat reclines to an almost flat position which is great for outdoor naps and diaper changes.
You can also bring the stroller seat to an upright position for older kids. It is equipped with a padded five point harness that adjust to provide a perfect fit for your child.
The storage basket is zippered so you can run without worrying about losing your stuff. It is big and can hold up to 11 lbs and it is easy to access too.
If you ever need to use your stroller in doors or in the city, you can downsize it with the 12″ rear wheel pack. The wheels pop in and out easily so transitioning from big off road wheels to small urban wheels is easy.
You can convert your stroller into a pram by attaching the baby bassinet/carrycot to hold the littlest of babies. You can also convert it to a travel system by using a compatible infant car seat and adapter.

Joovy Zoom 360 ultralight
Joovy zoom 360 is another great stroller for runners. It has a 26.26 lbs lightweight frame with a capacity of 75 lbs. It is equipped with large 12″ swiveling locking front wheel and 16″ rear wheels.
The seat of the joovy zoom 360 stroller sits high, providing your child with a better view of their environment. This seat can recline to multiple positions and is equipped with a five point safety harness that is easy to use.
It has a large adjustable canopy with a viewing window for checking on your child as you run.
A foot activated linked parking brake is located on the rear of the stroller. It can receive an infant car seat to become a travel system with the use of compatible adapters.
