There are many great strollers that you can buy when you are on a budget. Strollers come in a wide variety of shapes and colors. Before choosing a stroller, it is safe to ask your self what you will be using the stroller for. For example, if you are an avid runner, then you want to buy a jogging stroller. On the other hand, if you will only use your stroller for walks or shopping then a standard stroller will work just fine.
I will be writing today about a few affordable travel system strollers and subsequently I will write about other types of strollers. I will give a brief review of some strollers that cost less than $200 on Amazon (prices may change from the time of this post).
Travel system strollers
A travel system stroller is one that has a stroller and a matching infant car seat to go with it. This type of stroller is relatively cheaper than regular ones because the price drops when it is sold as a combo. There are many great travel system strollers to choose from; with a wide range of prices. I want to talk about a few of them that are great but will not cost you a fortune.
Evenflo JourneyLite Travel System with Embrace
This stroller has a reclining seat that allows for multi-position recline which makes for a comfortable ride for the baby. It has swiveling front wheels for easy maneuvering in shopping centers. The front wheels can be locked to avoid sudden turns if walking at a fast pace. The wheel lock feature is especially good when jogging.
It has a one hand folding design plus a parent console with covered storage. Both stroller and infant car seat features five point safety harnesses. The stroller can hold a child up to 50 lbs and the car seat is designed for infants 4 lbs to 32 lbs.
The Evenflo journeylite stroller is meant for newborns and children up to five years old.
According to some reviews on Amazon, this stroller breaks easily and won’t open sometimes.

Graco DuoGlider Classic Connect Stroller
This stroller is designed for two kids. It can hold two Graco classic connect car seats and can hold two kids up to 40 lbs each. The seats are designed such that the back seat is high than the front seat, allowing both kids a better view of their environment.
Both stroller seats can recline and have foot rest for added comfort for your children. It features a parent tray, extra large storage basket and one hand folding. It has a swiveling front wheel for better maneuverability. The front wheel can be locked to provide greater stability.
This stroller has been reviewed by 502 people on Amazon, giving it an overall 4.5 star rating.

Joovy Caboose Stand On Tandem Stroller
This stroller has a compact design that can hold a growing toddler standing on the rear platform or sitting on the padded rear seat while carrying an infant comfortably in the front seat. It can accomodate an infant in a car seat and is designed with a universal infant car seat attachment.
The rear is design to encourage independence in older kids because you no longer have to lift a child into the seat. The caboose folds compactly,easily and is lighter than a full double strollers. It has a large storage with two child cup holders.
The Joovy Caboose has been reviewed by 50 people on amazon and has an overall 4.2 out of 5 star rating. The main complain is about the front seat not reclining and thus being uncomfortable for a sleeping child. For $141.14, I think the Caboose is a good buy. To check it out, click here.
